Job Search Workshop

Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties is offering a Job Seekers Success Group for active job seekers who are unemployed, underemployed or seeking a career change.  The next group will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at JFS, 150-A West High Street, Somerville, NJ. The topic for this session is “Maximizing LinkedIn” presented by Ken Sher, Executive Coach and Career Consultant, Sher Coaching. In this interactive session, Ken will teach you ways to get noticed, strengthen your profile, enhance your personal brand and move yourself to the first page of the search.

Staffing for Music Industry

Memo to job seekers: Emailing a cancellation notice to a recruiter, 30 minutes before you were supposed to interview with their valued client, is totally unacceptable (especially without explanation). Classic case of burning bridges. #PlacementPerspectives

IT Auditor Needed

Our client, a well known bank based in NYC, needs a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) who must be extremely well schooled in the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.  Candidate must be quite strong in how to design IT audit strategies and methodologies, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.  A high comfort level with audit data analytics is needed plus the ability to oversee and guide both Internal IT Auditors and outside resources who are involved in the process.
