Maintenance Mechanic Needed

Our client, a well established manufacturer, needs a Packaging Mechanic w/4-8 yrs. exp. troubleshooting, repair, and maint. of packaging, processing and mixing machines; electrical troubleshooting and repair; CMMS and computer maint.; parts inventory management; regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA, etc.); building and facility upkeep. HVAC and / or plumbing exp. a plus. Knowledge of foods, pharmaceuticals, or biodegradables helpful but not essential. First shift.

Details should be placed in the resume while the cover letter should simply state the position you are applying for, perhaps one sentence about how many years of directly related experience you have, and a very brief reason for changing jobs. It should also include the best times and methods for contacting you.

Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Unique opportunity for a Bookkeeper looking for part-time work in the Morris County NJ area.  

Two small businesses each need an individual with QuickBooks, account reconciliation, transaction reporting, etc.  One position is in Montville, the other in Mountain Lakes. Work schedule combined between the two sites will be 2 to 3 days (15-24 hours) weekly.

Ideal candidate will have exp. collecting information and ideas for multiple parties and refining them quickly into a cognizant order. Snow Day = Search Day

Like so many others, I am sitting home waiting for the storm of the century to paralyze the Northeastern U.S. That being said, between the media hype and the fact it is pretty darn nasty outdoors, most companies from DC to Boston have told their work forces to stay home. Does this mean that job searches should screech to a halt as well. I assume that most of you realize the answer is NO!

If you have electricity, it is the perfect day to check out job boards, LinkedIn, individual company websites, etc. Send out some resumes, write some emails, do some networking then take a break to shovel snow or clean off your vehicle! While most people in the impacted areas are out of the office, many of them may be glued to their computers and other devices.

With little else to do right now, many hiring managers might have time to properly focus on resumes. If you happened to be one of those who were industriously submitting to companies, you might be rewarded by a surprise reach out today! if not, you took a big step in your self marketing process!
