Some Advice

Quick Job Search Tip:
Make sure your reference list is accurate before handing it to potential employers.  Phone numbers and email addresses change and you need to make sure those on your list are easy to find.  It is also good to personally check in with your references from time to time to ensure they are still ready to speak well on your behalf!

Quick Thought!

Food for thought: When job hunting, make sure you answer the questions asked of you and not the questions you think the interviewer might want to discuss.  Most hiring managers and interviewers have a plan for the interview.  They are in the driver's seat!

If you are like most people, you probably spend hours preparing for interview questions and answers and no time on how to communicate most effectively. Yet body language is the most significant factor in influencing the interviewer. It is how the interviewer is making judgments and decisions about you. Some say body language is a reflection of your personality, others a measure of your qualifications. However interpreted, science has shown that it is not what you say, but how you say it. More than 55% of communication is non-verbal suggesting it is imperative that it should be a part of your interview preparation.
