Candidates for employment should not send out scanned versions of their resumes unless they make sure it is perfectly aligned. Sending out one which is tilted at about a 20 degree angle, with numerous hand written corrections, is not going to help you get an interview.
For those who cannot afford a computer, most (if not all) public libraries offer free use of their computers as well as free internet. Sit down and type your resume and send it out from their computers. Some houses of worship also provide facilities at no cost. The better your resume looks, the more success you should see!
