Applications from the Junior League of Morristown Woman Moving Forward scholarship are now available for women who live or go to school in Morris or Somerset counties.
This $2,500 scholarship is awarded to one woman 40 years of age or older who is attending, or planning to attend an accredited college, university or trade school after taking time away from school.
The primary criterion for the scholarship is a commitment to improving oneself through education. Financial need is a consideration. Secondary criteria are academic performance and work or family responsibilities. Applicants must reside or attend school in Morris or Somerset Counties.
Completed applications must be received no later than January 31, 2017 and should be emailed to scholarship@jlmnj.org. The winner will be notified by email by April 1, 2017.
