Adventures in Staffing, Part 28.

"I want to leave my current employer in pursuit of a better opportunity with room for advancement and a higher salary." Over the past thirty-five years, I have heard this statement hundreds of times. When the economy is thriving and the world is semi-normal, this could make sense depending on your current situation, length of time at the current job, general state of health of your current employer, etc. There is no sense of normalcy at present leading me to recommend staying put if you are gainfully employed unless you feel significantly underpaid and underutilized. Research the potential employer thoroughly before making your final decision! Elise Prezant Patty Kremen, Paul Cecala, Certified Career Coach John R. Fugazzie MBA Cindy Mazejy Sheri D.
