Rather than following my normal format today, I want to thank those who are working on this holiday. Doctors, nurses, and all other Allied Health professionals keep us safe and healthy on holidays and have been unquestionably resilient and miraculous throughout the pandemic. Restaurant and hotel workers, convenience store staff, gas station attendants, delivery people, toll takers, first responders, public utility repair teams, corrections officers, members of the media all deserve all thanks today.
