Just about everyone has heard of the legendary Lone Ranger no matter what age group you are part of. While each individual needs to direct their personal job search, being a Lone Ranger is not necessarily the right way to find success.
Networking groups, job seeker support groups, webinars, self help job search tutorials, career coaches and life coaches are all out there in abundance waiting for you to step up and ask for assistance! Many folks feel embarrassed to ask for help with their job search as they believe they are doing something wrong being unemployed and unable to secure a new job. This is simply not the case! Looking for work can be quite daunting no matter what your employment history looks like.
In recent weeks, I have had the pleasure of chatting with several people who have been looking for work for various lengths of time. Sometimes, the ability to brainstorm with others is all that is needed to get focused. There are those who keep their job search roadmap private but I tend to believe reaching out for help is always worth doing!
